* Coco Design & Illustration

As a French designer and graphic artist, Coco's background gives her a unique insight into fashion and art. After studying fine arts in Paris, she worked as a communication consultant for a number of leading fashion designers. In 2004, she moved to London to set up a creative and technology consultancy company, getconfused. She now divides her time between comissioned illustration works and trend reports for diverse fashion magazines for example Vogue, Elle and Nylon.

As the creative mind behind "Forget me Not", Coco has, since 2009, been designing a collection of digitally printed silk scarves based on her own personal pattern, illustrations and compositions.These typically feature Coco's unique visual universe in dream-like scenarios and bold graphic compositions and collections are now available for sale in 10 countries around the world including Barney's, Colette and Harvey Nichols.

Coco finds inspiration in a wide variety of places. Living between Paris and London she feels at ease with the visual landscapes of both cities - as art and fashion capitals, they are a byword for innovation, creativity and metropolitan edge. She tends to start her work by experimenting with traditional processes such as painting, drawing and ceramics, before designing the final image digitally. She likes to mix several techniques but aim for restraint and minimalism in the finished work as she likes the results achieved from combining these two approaches.

For my final piece i would like to incorporate illustration with photography in a collage type style so i thought Coco was a really relevant artist.
