Studio Lighting.
The initial idea for this shoot was to develop my manual skills, mainly focusing on aperture and depth of field. I experimented with two variations of lighting, naturally lit and a more studio lighting set up (two lamps). I definitely preferred the final images from the studio lit shoot (originals above) and I'm really happy with how crisp the focal points came out and the intensities of the colours. In future shoots I will definitely be looking at various fabrics and intricate details so using a larger aperture with a shallow depth of field may become quite a consistent technique. I also aim to shoot completely manually by the end of this project.
